Main Article Content
Abstract
Entrepreneurship plays a pivotal role in driving economic growth and job creation, both globally and within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. This paper explores the significance of entrepreneurship in the GCC, where it is considered a vital element for economic diversification, employment generation, and sustainable development. In alignment with Bahrain's Economic Vision 2030, fostering a dynamic and equitable Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) sector is recognized as essential for achieving national economic goals. As micro-businesses and SMEs comprise a substantial portion of operating firms in Bahrain, contributing significantly to the country's GDP and employment, this study delves into their role in promoting economic development.
