Abstract

In order to improve the cultivation level of college students' civic education, the necessity study of integrating the new era labor model spirit into the civic teaching of higher vocational colleges and universities is now proposed. Firstly, the theoretical basis and spiritual characteristics of the spirit of the model worker in the new era are analyzed and explained, and the current status of the educational practice of combining the spirit of the model worker with the Civic and Political Teaching in colleges and universities is analyzed, pointing out that there are problems in the educational concept, cultivation methods and teaching resources. On this basis, the necessity of integrating the model worker spirit into Civics teaching is analyzed, and it is pointed out that the model worker spirit is conducive to the cultivation of socialist core values, meeting the internal cultural needs and enriching teaching resources. The aim is to improve the cultivation system of Civics teaching in colleges and universities, and to carry forward the contemporary connotation of the spirit of the model worker
